Adding a second photographer is one of the best ways to capture even more of your wedding day. While I’m focused on the key moments, a second photographer can document different angles, candid guest interactions, and everything happening behind the scenes. From both partners getting ready at separate locations to extra coverage during the ceremony and reception, it means more moments, more memories, and a fuller story of your day.

ENGAGEMENT

Engagement sessions are designed to be simple, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. We’ll choose a location that fits your vision, spend time creating a variety of natural, editorial, and candid images, and give you space to ease into being photographed without any pressure. It’s also a great opportunity to walk through how I work before the wedding day, so everything feels familiar and effortless when it matters most. After your session, you’ll have a full gallery of images that can be used for save the dates, wedding details, or simply documented as a meaningful part of your story..

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely. I love photographing weddings in new locations and am available for destination weddings.

Travel is simply added to your bespoke quote, covering the cost of getting me to and from your wedding location. Everything is discussed and tailored to your plans during our consultation call, so you'll have complete clarity from the start with no hidden surprises.

2. WHEN DO WE SEE OUR PHOTOS?

My normal turnaround time for full gallery edit & delivery is approx 6-8 weeks, but I will provide you with a mini edit of highlights usually within 48 hours of your wedding so you have something awesome to share with your friends and family. This will come in a very easy to access password protected online gallery that you can send out to your loved ones and also download from to post to your socials etc.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking. This ensures your date is reserved exclusively for you and that I am unable to accept other bookings for that day.

If your wedding date needs to be postponed or rescheduled, I will always do my best to accommodate the new date, subject to availability. In many cases, the retainer can be transferred to the new date. However, depending on the circumstances, the amount of notice given, and whether the wedding is moved to a different year or season, an additional fee may apply.

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

Yes, absolutely. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working alongside many talented wedding videographers and have built strong relationships with a number of fantastic professionals. Every videographer has their own style, so once I have a better understanding of what you're looking for, I'd be more than happy to recommend a few who would be a great fit for your day. I always recommend people whose work I genuinely love and who I know work seamlessly alongside my photography approach.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Of course. While my approach is focused on capturing genuine moments rather than recreating someone else's wedding, I completely understand how exciting the planning process is and how many ideas you'll come across online. If there are certain photos, poses, or moments you particularly love, feel free to put together a small inspiration board or shot list. We can chat through it during our catch-up call and make sure I understand what's most important to you while keeping everything feeling natural and authentic.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Absolutely, in certain circumstances we can arrange to meet before the wedding, depending on location and availability.

That said, I often recommend booking an engagement session if you'd like to spend some time together before the big day. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, help you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and build a natural connection before your wedding. As an added bonus, you'll receive a beautiful collection of photographs, without the wedding dress and suit. Many couples tell me it makes them feel far more relaxed and confident when the wedding day arrives.
